Music Ministry

Information

Culbertson Baptist has a blended approach to our worship style during the worship hour. On most Sundays, our Minister of Music & Worship uses both our worship band and sanctuary choir to lead us in worship. We sing both contemporary song and traditional hymns each Sunday.

Handbell Choir

Since 2015 Dave Hottel has led our Handbell Choir. They play several pieces about every two months. They will play at St. Paul II Catholic Church at the Friday Night Mass and then at the Sunday Morning Service at Culbertson Baptist Church. We currently have 3 octaves and 11 people in the handbell choir. We always have room for more people to join the handbell choir; you are welcome to share your musical talents with the congregation through this ministry.

Worship Band

In 2005, a group in our church came together to develop a worship band to help lead the congregation in worship.

Currently, our worship band consists of 6 people. We have a keyboardist/flutist, an electric guitarist, a pianist, a bass guitarist, a drummer on bongos/congos , and a drummer on an electric set. On most Sundays, they (and the sanctuary choir) lead us in worship and provide the special music before the sermon.

Sanctuary Choir

Throughout our church's history, we have supported a sanctuary choir. On most Sundays, they (and the worship band) lead us in worship and provide the special music before the sermon. Throughout the year, they also have special programs, especially for Easter and Christmas.
